Kadiyam Srihari: Gurukul Schools in Telangana should be a role model for the country

Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Kadiyam Srihari suggested that the Gurukul schools in Telangana should be transformed into the number one Gurukul in the country and make them a role model for the country. 

Speaking further, he said that he hopes that students from Gurukul Schools in Telangana bag as many seats in the National Level Competitive Examinations such as JEE and NEET. 

The Minister said, “Already the Telangana state Gurukul schools have got a good name in the country. It has been suggested to strengthen the gravity to continue this process.

Special Secretary General of the Government of India and Secretaries of SC, ST, BC, Minority, Ranjiv R, Education Gurukul Societies Acharya, Education Director Kishan, Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Kadiyam Srihari with other officials reviewed the strength of Gurukuls in the Secretariat today. 

Speaking on the occasion, Kadiyam Srihari said, “The same kind of syllabus is already implemented in all the SCs, STs, BCs, Minorities and Educational Institutions and should be done more effectively. We have to take measures to ensure that all the students have a single test system. Health and Hygiene kits are available for all students.

Napkins need to be supplied for girls, supplying for 12 months rather than ten months. Many girls are suffering from anaemia and need a special focus on them. Girls with anaemia should be provided special nutrition. Also, action needs to be taken to promote sports and games. CG cameras and digital classes should be maintained at each Gurukul college.”
