CM announces 2% quota in govt jobs for sports persons

Hyderabad : Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao announced 2% reservation in government employment in the state for the sportspersons.
 
The Chief Minister made this announcement when a team of 18 members who participated in the recently concluded Commonwealth Games 2018 at Gold Coast Australia met him at Pragathi Bhavan today morning. They belonged to Telangana, AP, Kerala, Maharashtra and Karnataka.
 
Chief Minister in addition to facilitating each and every participant with a bouquet and shawl also interacted individually with everyone, complementing them for their achievement. 
 
The following sports persons met the CM: Saina Nehwal (Badminton), PV Sindhu (Badminton), Srikanth Kidambi (Badminton), Rankireddy Satwik Sairaj (Badminton), N Sikkireddy (Badminton), G Ruthvika Shivani (Badminton), Hasamuddin Mohammed (Boxing), Aruna Budda Reddy (Gymnastics), Meghana Gundlapally (Gymnastics), Kynan Darius Cheni (Shooting), Gagan Narang (Shooting), HSK Prannoy (Badminton), Pranav Chopra (Badminton), Chirag Shetty (Badminton), Ashwini Ponnappa (Badminton), Sharath Kamal Achanta (Table Tennis) and Ragala Venkat Rahul (Weight Lifting) and Badminton Coach Pullela Gopichand also there who met the CM.
 
The Chief Minister had a word of praise for their participation and for bringing laurels to the country and state.
