Mayor conducts post mid-night inspection of road works

Hyderabad : GHMC Mayor Dr. Bonthu Rammohan, along with Municipal Administration Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar, made a surprise visit at late midnight yesterday to inspect the ongoing road repairing works taken up by the GHMC to the tune of Rs. 700 crores.
 
They have visited Jubilee Hills, Road No.5 near Nalagandla flyover Majid Banda and other areas where the road repairing works are being taken up. The works taken up must be completed before rainy season using modernized technology with good quality for their long lasting service.
 
Arvind Kumar said the works must be of good quality and warned of stern action if any irregularities are found. Chief Engineer Ziauddin, Superintending Engineer Mohan Singh and other senior officials of the Engineering wing accompanied the Mayor and Principal Secretary.
