Ponnam asks TRS to issue White Paper on poll promises in TRS Plenary
Hyderabad: TPCC Vice President and ex-MP Ponnam Prabhakar on Thursday demanded that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi release a White Paper on the status of polls promises that it made with the people in 2014 election during its plenary session being held on Friday.
Speaking to media persons in Delhi, Ponnam said TRS had promised three acres of land for each Dalit family, double bed room houses for poor and one job for each household. He said TRS should release a White Paper giving exact status of implementation of these promises.
Ponnam said not a single irrigation project was constructed under TRS regime and the ruling party has been trying to take credit for projects which were initiated by previous Congress regime. He blamed the KCR Government for suicide of over 4,000 farmers. He said TRS workers should question their leadership on their government's achievements during the last four years.
The Congress leader alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has only wasted public wealth in the name of re-designing of irrigation projects.
