Agriculture sector is rapidly growing: KTR

Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao said that the agriculture sector in the state is witnessing rapid growth. The Telangana Academy of Sciences’ ‘Presentation of Young Scientist Awards-2017’ program was held at Indian Institution of Chemical Technology (IICT) campus in Hyderabad on Saturday.

KTR who was the Chief Guest at the event awarded the young scientists. 

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the scientific research in the country is moving at a fast pace. 

He said that the benefits of science and technology should reach to the common people adding that the scientists' experiments are important to the agricultural sector. 

Mentioning that they are developing Hyderabad in all respects, KTR expressed pride over the fact that ISRO succeeded in sending 100 satellites simultaneously. 

The Minister further stated that Science and technology will be a major contribution to the development of the country.
