You’re my diamonds, KCR tells sitting MLAs
Hyderabad: In what has come as music to the ears of TRS MLAs, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday said that he was not contemplating replacing any of them in the next Assembly elections. “The reports in the media that at least 30 MLAs would be shown the gate as the party was scouting for new names is baseless. All our MLAs are like diamonds.
All of them would be fielded against from their respective constituencies,” he said. But left the door a little ajar saying that “may be in some constituencies party may consider replacements” amidst applause from the MLAs and their supporters.
He suggested to the media not to indulge in speculation for at any stage he was contemplating bringing in new faces in constituencies which are represented by the TRS legislators. “Please eschew publishing such stories. We are not thinking on those lines,” he said.
