MANUU student selected for Civil Services
Hyderabad : Shahid T Komath, a student of Maulana Azad National Urdu University’s Civil Services Examinations Residential Coaching Academy have secured 693 rank in the prestigious UPSC Civil Services Examinations.
The results after the interview were declared on April 27.
According to Dr. H. Aleem Basha, Dy. Director, Academy, Shahid T Komath was a student of MANUU Civil Services Academy for 2016-17 batch and he joined the academy to prepare for the prelims. After clearing prelims he moved to Delhi for Mains but was in regular touch with the then Director of Academy Prof. Amirullah Khan till the interviews.
Shahid, is from Kozhikode district of Kerala, did his graduation in English Language and Literature from Calicut University. His roll number is 0557457.
The Civil Services Examinations Coaching Academy at MANUU was established for religious minorities SCs/STs and women in 2009 along with four other Universities in India. Currently, around 100 students are undergoing coaching in the academy for the prelims scheduled to be held in June 2018.
