Rajamahendravaram: Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti (MRPS) founder president Manda Krishna Madiga has said that SC/STs should fight under one roof against Central government to protect their rights.

Addressing SC/STs at Sri Venkateswara Anam Kala Kendram here on Thursday, he alleged that both Supreme Court and BJP government were trying to dilute SC/ST Atrocities Prevention Act. As part of it, a two-member bench delivered judgement squashing two sections in the act. Still many atrocities were taking place in the country though the act was in force. If the act was changed, what would be the fate of SC/STs, he questioned.
