Kodandaram demands compensation for farmers over crop losses

Telangana Jana Samithi chief Kodandaram on Friday demanded aid to farmers who lost their crops due to the unseasonal rains asking the government to pay compensation for them.

Pointing out that the farmers’ don’t have weighing machines at the purchase centers nor was the minimum support price extended, he recalled the promises made by the Telangana government to withdraw the cases filed against the students at the time of Telangana agitation adding that they are yet to be fulfilled.

Kodandaram mentioned that Munnuru Ravi, who took part in the Telangana Parade Program at Mahabubnagar on September 16, 2012, getting punished is unfortunate and demanded the government to seek justice to him.
