Recalling Medak district collector Dharma Reddy’s request for waiver of water cess of Rs 800 crore of farmers, the Chief Minister said, “I salute him. Generally, such demand comes from political leaders, but this time the Collector had made a request to waive water tax pending for the last 30 years. All government employees, right from Chief Secretary to Village Revenue Officials, are contributing to the State’s development.”

The CM also praised government doctors in the State and advised media to refrain from writing negative news about them. “The capacity of Osmania General Hospital is 1,000 bed, but every day 1,800 to 2,000 patients visit the hospital. The doctors should be appreciated, because they never send patients away like the private hospitals,” said the Chief Minister.
