Excellence Awards for many Collectors
Hyderabad: The state government on Saturday announced Telangana Excellence Awards- 2018 to IAS officials recognizing their exemplary public services rendered at different levels of the state administration.
State Commissioner of Commercial Taxes V Anil Kumar, Principal Resident Commissioner (Telangana Bhavan, New Delhi) and G Ashok Kumar were selected in the general category for the excellence award.
Nalgonda Collector Gaurav Uppal in individual category, senior bureaucrat Budda Prakash Jyothi, Adilabad Collector D Divya and Health official Rajeev Raj were selected for the award under group category for achieving the highest public institutional deliveries in the state. In the organization category, GHMC Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy has been selected for the state award for successfully completing land pooling for double bedroom scheme.
In the innovation category, Mancherial Collector R Karnan (individual) got the award for implementing Vikasam school concept. Karimnagar Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed, Dr Rajesham (DMHO) and Mohammed Aleem (as a group) were selected for the award to be given on the Telangana Formation Day on June 2.
In the Land Updation programme, Jagtial Collector A Sharat and Nalgonda Collector Gaurav Uppal will be presented the award. Peddapally Collector A Varshini has been selected for implementing sand tax policy and IT initiative strictly. Asifabad Collector Prashanth J Patil has been chosen for the excellence award for implementing the sheep distribution scheme and Rajanna Siricilla District Collector D Krishna Bhaskar has been selected for the award for taking up measures in solid waste management.
