Biodiversity responsibility of everyone: Governor

Hyderabad : People should realise that Biodiversity and environment protection is not the responsibility of government alone but also of the people, said Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan.
 
The Governor participated as Chief Guest at the International Day of Biological Diversity, held at Prof. Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University at Rajendranagar, on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said farmers should be made partners in the biodiversity initiatives. He said his appeal to the people, not as the Governor but as a common man to protect and safeguard the environment and biodiversity and ensure a liveable environment for the future generations.
 
Forest Minister Jogu Ramanna and other officials also participated in the programme.
