Hanamkonda: The State government’s initiative of establishing She Teams has helped to curtail the menace of eve-teasing, noted Warangal Member of Parliament P Dayakar.

Speaking on the occasion, the MP expressed serious concern over the occurrence of incidents of violence against women and girl children.
Everyone in the society should condemn such incidents and lend their part to prevent them. He said both the Centre and the State governments have been working for the safety and wellbeing of women and girls by introducing various measures and programmes. The NGOs working in the field of women’s welfare should educate women and girls about such programmes, he appealed.

Medical and legal aid and psychological support would be provided at the centre. Yadava Reddy suggested that those approaching the centre would be bearing a great burden of pain caused by violence they faced hence they should be paid due attention and care in resolving their issues.
