Vishnu temple to serve Iftar this Ramzan

A Vishnu temple in Kottakkal in Malappuram is to hold Iftar dinner to it’s local Muslims. The temple is to serve vegetable biryani and snacks along with fruits,juices and special Ramzan drinks.

This is going to take place as a part of the Pratishta Dina festival of the Lakshmi Narasimha Moorthy Vishnu temple at Punnathala near Vettichira on Thursday.

The temple is planning to organize this to promote peace and harmony .

The temple committee is expecting around 700 people to attend.

Such events promote the communal harmony and religious coexistence in the state.
