Khuntia said that the Prime Minister did not even keep at least one promise he made. The Prime Minister did not answer at least one question, out of the 41, being raised by the Congress. Modi did not give any answer regarding the suicides by the farmers and did not take any steps to address the crisis in agriculture sector.

Though the Prime Minister said that he would put Rs 15 lakh in accounts of each citizen of the country by unearthing black money, not even a single paisa was credited to the people instead he helped the black money hoarders, Khuntia alleged.

Khuntia wanted to know why the petrol and diesel prices were rising while the prices of crude oil were low in the international market. Though the Prime Minister promised that he would control prices of essential commodities within 100-day after assuming power, he actually took away the commodities from the reach of the people, he said. The Congress Incharge said that there was no security to the people and attacks on the lower sections of the people were on the rise. The Prime Minister promised that he would create two crore jobs every year but caused closure of industries with demonetisation.

While the Prime Minister gave the slogan One Nation – One Tax, he did not bring petrol and diesel into the purview of GST. Many friends of Modi who took loans from the banks have been running away from the country evading their payment and no action was taken on them.

Meanwhile, the Congress leaders held a rally from Gandhi Bhavan observing Betrayal Day. Hyderabad city Congress president Anjan Kumar Yadav led the rally. They exhibited placards with slogans against the Central government. The police arrested them at Nampally crossroads and remanded them at the police station.
