Ram Madhav takes a dig at TRS, TDP
Hyderabad: BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav lashed out at the ruling TRS and TDP parties in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for joining hands to form fronts to fight against the BJP.
Addressing a meeting marking the occasion of completion of four years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government organised by the party’s State unit here on Saturday, he said that those who could not develop Hyderabad city are aspiring to play a role at the national level.
Listing out the details of the four-year-old government led by Modi, he termed the show of unity of the leaders of the opposition parties at the recently in Bengaluru during the swearing-in ceremony of Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumara Swamy was the coming-together of those involved in corruption. As they cannot face Modi alone they are coming to form new fronts and tents.
Because the BJP government at the Centre has been providing corruption-free governance in for the last four years, he said. Until 2014, every day the newspapers were flashed with the news of corruption. But, the same is not the case after 2014, he added.
In an obvious reference to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, the BJP leader said, “He who was with BJP for three years has jumped out into the sea from the ship.” And, claimed that BJP has fulfilled 85 per cent assurances. Due to caste and corrupt politics in Andhra Pradesh, politicians have painted the caste colour to Lord Balaji of Tirumala, he pointed out.
Ram Madhav said that the dynasty politics have been on the rise in both the Telugu states and took exception to TRS levelling allegations against BJP by joining hands with AIMIM in Hyderabad.
