Twin cities students shine in CBSE Class X results
Hyderabad: Students from the twin cities passed with flying colours in the Class X results announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday.
Sristhti Porwal from the Kendriya Vidyalaya, Air Force Station, Begumpet scored 98.8 per cent and shared the first rank with three other students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools (KVS) in the country. Similarly, S Anushir of KVS, University of Hyderabad campus scored 98.6 and stood second with the second rank among the top ten rankers of the KVS in the country.
The Army Public School (APS) Bolarum, Secunderabad achieved 100 per cent pass results as all the 185 students passed the exam. Girls have outperformed the boys and secured top five positions. Nikitha Pathania is the topper with 98.4 per cent. The second highest is secured by Paryetri Banerjee with 97.6 per cent and at the third position is Tejika Bajaj with 97.2 per cent.
In overall, nine students have scored above 95 per cent, 30 students have scored more than 90 per cent and a majority of 61 students scored between 80-90 percentages. A total of nine students scored a centum in various subjects with four of them in English, two of them in Maths, one in Science and two of them in Social Science. Principal Smitha Govind congratulated the students for the outstanding results.
Even Jubilee Hills Public School Class 10 students registered 100 per cent pass marks. Many secured distinction and first class. Gowri Tiwari stood first with 97.2 per cent. Gogineni Vijaya Srikar, Sashwath Mukherjee and Pratisha Shukla stood second with 96.2 per cent. The school management and the Academic Director G Sree Devi congratulated the students on their success. Chairman A Mural Mukund congratulated the staff and the students for their hard work in achieving the good results.
Students of DAV school showed spectacular results with the school achieving 100 per cent pass percentage as well as 66 per cent of students scoring distinction and 90 per cent scoring first class. Sai Suman V with 97.4 per cent stood as the school topper, followed by Ranjana Rajesh and Devarakonda Sri Deepthi with 96.6 per cent standing second and G Rahul with 96.4 per cent standing in the third position among the school toppers.
