Air-conditioned bus shelters launched in Hyderabad

Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development KT Rama Rao on Saturday inaugurated the AC bus shelters in Hyderabad.

The bus stops at Kukatpally and Somajiguda got a major transformation. These bus shelters are equipped with air conditioning, comfortable seating, and provisions such as mobile chargers, water booth, ATMs.

In a bid to change the face of public transport, the Municipal Administration has commissioned over 826 bus stations across the city which will provide similar amenities.

The bus shelters at Kukatpally will also include a ticket vending booth, and a control room and WiFi for the citizens to utilize.
