Car catches fire, man burnt alive on National Highway

A major accident took place at the Siddipet-Gajwel road claiming yet another life. Within a time period of two days, two major accidents occurred involving Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) buses claimed more than 20 lives on the same highway.

According to the reports, a car got burnt and the driver of the Alto car was burnt alive on Friday night. The car was engulfed in flames at Rimmanaguda near Gajwel in Siddipet district following which the traffic flow on the national highway was obstructed for a long time thus resulting in a traffic jam.

The police were alerted and the flames were doused down. While the identity of the driver is yet to be ascertained, the reason behind the car catching flames is learned to be a short circuit.
