STAMP challenge to increase connectivity to Metro

Hyderabad : HMRL Managing Director NVS Reddy stated that HMRL and L&TMRHL are launching the Station Access and Mobility Program (STAMP) challenge in Hyderabad in collaboration with World Resources Institute (WRI India) and the Toyota Mobility Foundation (TMF). 
 
This is an open challenge platform for start up companies, entrepreneurs and investors to provide electric and shared vehicles and other connected mobility solutions to bridge the first and last mile connectivity to the Metro in Hyderabad. 
 
The solutions identified under this program will help citizens of Hyderabad to easily  access the Metro network and make commuting convenient and easier. By addressing key commuter concerns, STAMP will help Hyderabad Metro Rail to become an attractive option for everyday commuting. The winners of program will be supported by investors to implement their solutions to benefit commuters getting to and from metro to reach their homes, schools and places of work in a more convenient manner. The better user experience enabled by this program will build an ecosystem around public transport in Hyderabad.
 
The program will be launched on June 9. The event will include an introduction to the program, panel discussion, networking and media briefing. The discussion will focus on “Innovation and Entrepreneurship to enhance urban mobility”. The event will be attended by domain experts, entrepreneurs, investors, senior officials of the Government and other stake holders.
