Talasani reviews arrangements for Fish Medicine on June 8
Hyderabad : Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has directed the Fisheries Department to make arrangements to supply 1.32 lakh fingerlings for administering fish medicine to Asthma patients at Exhibition Grounds, Nampally on June 8.
The Minister held a meeting with the heads of different departments including GHMC, Revenue, Health and Police on Wednesday to discuss the arrangements to be made for administering famous Fish Medicine by Bathini Brothers. Addressing the meeting, he said elaborate arrangements should be made for the smooth conduct of the event wherein Asthma patients from across the country visit Hyderabad to take fish medicine. He said Bathini family has been giving the medicine since five generations and their service has now entered 173rd year.
Talasani informed that 32 counters would be set up for distribution of coupons and an equal number of counters will be established for administering the medicine. A total of 360 employees of Fisheries Department, 1500 police personnel and 1230 staff for cleaning would be deployed at Exhibition Grounds. It has been decided to operate 133 special RTC buses to Exhibition Grounds. Three medical camps and three mobile medical teams along with ambulances will be kept ready. As many as 100 mobile toilets will also be set up at the venue. Services of 800 volunteers are also being taken.
Four fire tenders and four mobile power transformers will also be deployed at the Exhibition Grounds.
