Strike call by TSRTC: Minister Mahender Reddy to meet officials

​Hyderabad: In the wake of strike call given by RTC workers from June 11, Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy has called for a meeting of transport, TSRTC officials and the leaders of Workers’ Union at the Secretariat on Friday. According to an RTC press release issued here, the Minister would first meet the higher officials of transport department and TSRTC at 9 am at Secretariat. 

Later, at 9.30 am, the Minister would meet the leaders of Telangana Mazdoor Union (TMU). Transport Principal Secretary Sunil Sharma, RTC Chairman S Satyanarayana, MD G V Ramana Rao and other officials would take part in the meeting. The RTC employees have declared to go on strike from midnight of June 10 demanding pay revision.
