According to sources, a heated argument took place between Revanth Reddy and the Speaker when the former questioned his inaction on the High Court over restoration of membership of two MLAs. Revanth Reddy alleged remarked that the Speaker was trying to hang someone to death just for stealing a pen.

Reacting to the remarks of Revanth Reddy, the Speaker threatened to leave the chamber. However, Jana Reddy and other leaders pacified Madhusudan Chary and Revanth to stay calm.

Speaking to media persons later, Jana Reddy and Uttam Kumar Reddy said that it was highly regrettable that the Speaker did not restore the membership of Komatireddy and Sampath Kumar even after 50 days of High Court. They said that they would take up the matter at the national level. They also accused Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao of pursuing anti-democratic and anti-Constitutional policies. They said that the Congress part highly upset that the Legislature and TRS Government were not willing to even implement the court orders.
