All India first ranker Pranav Goyal wants to launch his own start-up after completing studies while seventh ranker Hemanth Kumar, B Jishnu (15th rank), G Sai Abhishek (31st rank) want to do research. And all of them want to join CSE (Computer Science Engineering) at IIT Bombay.

Interestingly all these students owe their success to Sri Chaitanya IIT Academy. June 10 was a special day for Pranav Goyal, the All India topper. After a busy few hours in Chandigarh where he celebrated the achievement with his family, well-wishers and teachers, he flew down to Hyderabad with his parents and younger brother (studying 8th standard in DPS, Chandigarh) to celebrate the success with his fellow rankers from Sri Chaitanya.

With an objective to excel in JEE, Pranav was so focussed that he gave up all forms of entertainment and hobbies. Sharing his success mantra with The Hans India, he said that he studied for nearly 10 hours in a day, at time four to five hours at a stretch for the last three months prior to the exam.

He got fourth rank in JEE (Main). Pranav wants to launch his own start-up in the future and become an entrepreneur and job giver instead of a job seeker. His father Pankaj Goyal owns a pharma company.

Seventh ranker Hemanth Kumar, from Visakhapatnam, is the only student who got into Top-10 in all entrance exams he appeared this year. After getting 7th rank in JEE (Advanced), he secured 2nd rank in JEE (Main), 4th rank in TS EAMCET and 8th rank in AP EAMCET.

Hemanth, who studied in Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) school upto 10th, did his intermediate with AP state syllabus from Sri Chaitanya College in Asilmetta, Visakhapatnam. After completing B Tech (CSE) from IIT Bombay, he wants to pursue research in IISc, Bangalore.
Hemanth Kumar specially thanked his faculty including mathematics lecturer Pardhasarathi, Physics lecturer Pandey, Chemistry lecturers Gopala Krishna and G Ramesh Babu at Chaitanya College. I expected a rank below 20 and very excited about the 7th rank, Hemanth, said adding that he spent 7 to 10 hours per day for studying and practice work.

Other than study hours Hemanth Kumar spends his most of the time to watch the TV and play computer games. “Yes. I used to get refreshed after watching TV and playing games on PC,” Hemanth added. His father C Naga Rao is working as a Section Officer in Central Public Work Department (CPWD), Mumbai while mother C Karuna Devi is a homemaker.

Fifteenth ranker B Jishnu, who hails from Tirupati, thanked both his parents for the success. His father B Chenglaraju (headmaster) and mother B Bharathi (teacher) work in government schools. G Sai Abhishek (31st rank) wants to do space research in the future.
