Centre should solve employees’ issues

Peddapalli: Criticising the Central government that it has been acting stubbornly with the employees, Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers Association (TNGO) district secretary Ramkishan Rao appealed the Centre to change its behaviour and to take an initiative to solve various issues of the employees.

Following the call given by the State TNGO committee, district TNGO representatives staged a protest against the Central government here in the premises of the collectorate during lunch hour in Peddapalli on Tuesday.

Speaking on this occasion, Ramkishan Rao demanded the Central government to dissolve the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) system, which is under its limits. Also, it should regularise outsourcing employees, who have been working for several years in various government departments.

The coordinators of Saakshar Bharat are facing many problems due to very low salaries and are unable to lead their lives. The government should solve their problems immediately by enhancing their salaries, he demanded.

He urged all the employees present across the State to participate in the protest, which is going to be held in New Delhi on November 15, under All India Employees Federation in protest against the Central government.

TNGO’s district president Rajendar, vice-president Shankar, publicity secretary V Sridhar, Peddapalli urban unit president Mahesh, Peddapalli rural unit president T Shankar Yadav, executive members and others participated in the protest.
