Medak SP throws a new Twitter challenge to the police force in the district
HYDERABAD: The Prime minister has recently thrown a fitness challenge, to all the IPS officers across the country.
Following the PM’s tweet, an IPS officer, from Medak in Telangana, has thrown another interesting challenge to all the police force in Medak.
The IPS officer, G Chandana Deepti who is also the Medak district Superintendent of police, has tweeted out a challenge on Wednesday, asking all the officers to learn a new skill every day and also to improve their learning efficiency.
She has also asked them tweet out their every day learnings with #learningnewskill, to bring them to her notice.
The IPS officer has stated that this way she would know the skill sets of the police officers and hence would be able to deploy them, in a situation where their skill would be useful.
The IPS officer is also expecting 1000 of her officers to acquire knowledge of computers, new software, apps and technology, which could aid them better in discharging their duties.
She also stated that in this way the officers could obtain a skill which they think might be useful, apart from their usual training. She has also accepted the PM’s challenge.
I throw a Twitter challenge to all my officers to tweet about learning a new skill everyday and improve their learning efficiency. The rate of our learning is the only competitive advantage we will eventually have. #learninganewskill
