Moderate rains likely this weekend in Telangana

​Hyderabad: After recent spells of rain, thanks to active southwest monsoon, dry weather prevailed in Telangana on Thursday. No rainfall was recorded, the Met department bulletin said. However, there was a slight increase in the day temperatures, with hot conditions prevailing in most parts of the State.

The forecast said light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at isolated places across the State from June 15 to 18. No large change from June 19-21 is the weather outlook.

Ramagundam recorded the highest day temperature of 38 degrees Celsius. The other temperatures in the State were: Adilabad, Khammam and Nalgonda 37 each, Nizamabad, Bhadrachalam, Hanamkonda and Medak 36 each, Hyderabad and Mahbubnagar 35 each and Hakimpet 33 degrees Celsius.
