Nandyal girl tops Telangana PG Law CET

​Hyderabad: Civil Services is top on the agenda of the rankers of the TSLAWCET-2018 and TSPGLCET-2018. Vemugadda Gayathri, who topped the list with first rank in the TSPGLCET-2018 from Nandyal of Kurnool district in Andhra Pradesh, has taken interest to study constitutional law.

Graduated in five-year integrated law course from the Post Graduate Law College from the city, Gayathri is aiming to become a civil servant. Sharing her interest with The Hans India, Gayathri said, understanding the constitutional law would help in the proper implementation of the policies of the government in helping people. This was the main objective with which she has been preparing to appear in the civil services examination in 2019. 

And, studying a post-graduate degree in constitutional law, she feels would help her in not only in her preparation but will also understand her role better as a civil servant.

S Yaswanth, who topped with the first rank, is seeking admission in the five-year law courses, had completed his Intermediate with MPC. Having multiple interests, "I have been an active participant in debating, elocution competitions, quiz programmes and the like," he says. This is what had made Yaswanth, to feel that his interest lie somewhere else than going to pursue engineering.

"Initially, my parents were worried a bit about my choice. But, my father who is working in Railways and my mother were convinced with my interest and gave green signal to study what I wanted," adding, "I will chart out my future plans after completing my law course.".

Jangili Aditya stood first in the entrance for three-year LLB course in the TSLAWCET-2018. For him too, becoming a civil servant is top on the agenda. Aditya, who had completed his B.Tech, has found his heart lies more in doing something to people by becoming a civil servant. "Constitution is part of my preparation for the Civil Services examinations. That's how I got interested and appeared for the TSLAWCET," he said.
