Update: 2018-06-16 10:10 IST

Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) treasurer Gudur Narayana Reddy on Friday said that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would be fighting for second place in the next elections to Assembly in the State.

Addressing the media, he said that no one was interested to join the BJP in the State. BJP leader Muralidhar Rao who could not win even a ward member post had no status to criticise Congress president Rahul Gandhi. The BJP leader was just a paper tiger, he added.

He said that the BJP had devastated the nation with its economic policies. The Congress would win the next elections to Lok Sabha and Rahul Gandhi would become the Prime Minister, he predicted.
