Task Force police seize fake cotton seeds

Gadwal: The task force police in Gadwal district on Sunday seized 30 bags of fake cotton seeds from the possession of Venkateshwar Reddy, a trader from Mirjapur village under Dharur mandal on Sunday.

According to the police, Venkateshwar Reddy had illegally stored 30 bags of fake cotton seeds in his house and was selling it to the farmers without any registration with the district authorities.

“We have seized 30 bags of illegal cotton seeds stocked at Venkateshwar Reddy’s hosue. We have registered a case and conducting further investigation,” said the Task force police.
