Khammam: Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) leader Y Srikanth here on Monday slammed TRS sarpanch Immadi Gopi for assaulting a woman at Indalvai mandal headquarters in Nizamabad district.
Condemning the incident, Vikram alleged that the incident exposed the true colours of the TRS leaders. The MPP President, he said, had demanded that the woman pay more money for the house and land she had purchased 10 months ago. Such a behaviour was nothing “rowdyism,” he said.
He demanded that the government suspend Gopi from the party and direct the police to register a case against him immediately. CPI-M party leaders Upendar Naik, Gouse, Osmaan and Ramesh were among those who also condemned the MPP President.
