Many people join Modi on Yoga Day
Karimnagar: On the day he took oath as the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi appealed the people to build a healthy India by practicing yoga daily and make India proud among world countries, BJP State official spokesperson Bandi Sanjay Kumar stated.
BJP leaders celebrated the International Yoga Day under the leadership of the party city unit president Beti Mahendar Reddy, by practicing yoga here at Vivekananda Degree and PG College on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, B Sanjay Kumar said that following the call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many people present in different countries in the world are practicing yoga and keeping their body fit.
He also said that every human being should practice yoga to live healthy, strong, stress-free and happy life. Yoga will improve memory power and mental ability with which one can attain peace in life.
Everyone should practice yoga daily for improving their life span. Yoga works like life insurance policy. Yoga must be introduced in every educational institution from KG to PG as a special course along with establishing yoga centres from village to city levels, he observed.
For protecting their health and to improve immunity power along with mental peace, one must practice yoga regularly. By recognising the significance of yoga, United Nations declared June 21 as International Yoga Day, Sanjay said.
Karimnagar Assembly Convener Dhubala Srinivas, district president Boyinapelli Praveen Rao, leaders Gaji Ramesh, Anam Prakash, Banti Rama Krishna and others participated in the programme.
