44 kg fake cotton seeds seized

Nagarkurnool: The agriculture officials of Nagarkurnool district have seized 44 kilograms of fake cotton seeds stocked illegally at the house of one Babu Goud in Cherla Itikyala village of Tadur mandal on Friday.

According to agriculture officials, they had received a tip-off about the sale of fake seeds in the district and upon getting specific information they had raided the house of Babu Goud and seized 44 kilograms of fake cotton seeds. “We have seized 44 kilograms of cotton seeds which are of illegally stocked at the house of one Babu Goud,” the official said.
