-    Even visiting temple is being made an issue

Hyderabad: Governor ESL Narasimhan on Thursday said that it was not proper on the part of Opposition parties to find fault with whatever he did. Even going to temple is being made a big issue by some parties which is unfortunate, he said.  The Governor visited recently launched Telangana Diagnostics central hub located in IPM (Institute for Preventive Medicine), Narayanaguda premises along with Health Minister C Laxma Reddy on Thursday.

When media-persons sought his reaction to Opposition parties calling him TRS agent for heaping regular praises on K Chandrashekar Rao’s government and its schemes, he said he went to check the progress of Kaleshwaram project, Mission Kakatiya or Mission Bhagiratha on his own and not on the advice of anyone and was impressed.

He stated that he knows what to do and what his duties and responsibilities were. “I made comments only after observing ongoing works,” he said. Commenting on hospitals and healthcare sector in Telangana, he suggested to those finding fault with it to first visit hospitals personally and check the facilities before criticising them. In case there were any genuine problems anywhere, he suggested them to bring them to the notice of the government for redressal.

Narasimhan pointed out that even steps are being taken to overhaul mortuaries. He exuded confidence that there would be no breaking news scrolls in channels as far as government hospitals are concerned. Meanwhile, Governor felt Telangana Diagnostics initiative would benefit every citizen in the State. He praised government for coming out with different schemes to ensure people of the State stay healthy. He also made a mention of Basti Dawakhanas initiative in the city.
