LIC celebrates International Yoga Day on grand scale

Hyderabad: Life Insurance Corporation of India South Central Zone celebrated International Yoga Day on a grand note at Lake View Park on Thursday.

S V Raman Rao, Executive Director (Health Insurance), Central Office, formally inaugurated the event. Yoga Gurus from Love Yoga Foundation gave free Yoga tips, and demonstrated the way for a healthy life. While giving his inaugural address, S V Raman Rao said that it is a great opportunity for LIC, being the country’s largest life insurer serving close to 29 crore policyholders, to propagate the message of “Healthy life through Yoga.” He made an appeal to all the participants to continue the practice of Yoga for being healthy forever. 

Raman Rao also stressed upon the need of financial security in the form of health insurance in case of unforeseen health exigencies. On this occasion, he told that LIC is currently offering two unique Health Insurance policies viz., Jeevan Arogya and Cancer Cover, to cater to various people in different segments. 

N Lalitha, Regional Manager (CC) and V Sathish Kumar, Regional Manager (HI) and other top officials participated in the event.
