Leaders deser TDP in droves, join TRS

Wanaparthy: More than 200 local leaders who had served in Telugu Desam party in the past 30 years all joined the TRS party on Friday. Accordingly, senior TDP leaders from Pebbair Karre Swamy, Balaswamy, Gudise Venu, Sahadevu, Veerabojjachary, Yeddula Sai along with their followers joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi  in the presence of Planning Commission vice chairman Niranjan Reddy. 

Speaking on the occasion, Niranjan Reddy said, “there are a large number of local leaders who are willing to leave the Congress and TDP and join the TRS because the party has done immense job both on the welfare and development fronts.” 

“Not just these local leaders, but a large section of people particularly the farmers, women and youth are getting attracted to TRS because we are delivering not only on what we had promised during elections but also have initiated various welfare schemes which are first of its kind and  were never implemented before in the entire country,” he added.

Niranjan Reddy predicted that the TRS government will regain power in 2019 elections and will continue to deliver equally on the welfare and development front.
