Quarrel between friends leads to murder

Miryalguda: Heated arguments between two friends in an inebriated condition led to physical assault, resulting a migrant vehicle mechanic losing his life. The deceased was identified as Ravi (29) of Chhattisgarh State.

According to sources, Madhukar Reddy, who was in an inebriated condition, picked up a quarrel with his friend Ravi in front of his mechanic shed located at the bypass road in Miryalguda town on Sunday night. Madhukar Reddy, in a fit of rage, attacked Ravi with a beer bottle. In the attack, Ravi sustained severe injuries. 

Terrified over the attack, Ravi immediately contacted his friend Pasha over phone and urged him to come to his shed to save him. Pasha shifted injured Ravi to the local Government Area Hospital for treatment.

He breathed his last while being shifted to Kamineni Hospital in Narketpally for treatment. Ravi was a native of Chhattisgarh and set up Indian Mechanic Shed at the bypass road in Miryalguda town for livelihood. The police arrested the accused Madhukar Reddy and are interrogating him.
