1,500 books donated to district library

Karimnagar: District Collector Sarfaraj Ahmed said that youth can achieve their targets of getting government jobs by concentrating on studies and by working systematically.

The Collector handed over 1,500 competitive books worth Rs 3,63,380 to the district library through Varadhi organisation for the youth, who are preparing for competitive examinations, here in Karimnagar on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that Central and State governments are issuing number of notifications for competitive examinations. Some of the unemployed and poor youth are unable to prepare for the competitive examinations perfectly due to lack of books and some are coming from distant places to district library to prepare for the examinations. 

Realising this, about 1,500 books are handed over to the District library for the sake of unemployed youth to prepare well for the competitive examinations. Many notifications are issued by both the Central and State governments relating to Civils, Group-1, Group-2, Group-4, Army, Navy, Railway Recruitment, VRO, VRA examinations.

In present society there is high competition, so the youth must read various books, newspapers, General Knowledge books, Social studies, English and Maths without fail in a systematic manner to be successful in the examination.

The youth who are preparing for competitive examinations must go through the question papers from the past 10-year and must study them to score more than 70 per cent marks. Different halls were established for girls and boys who are preparing for competitive examinations in the library for their convenience.
