Ensure everyone benefits from welfare schemes
Jangaon: Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari directed the district officials to strive to take the benefits of the government’s welfare programmes to all the beneficiaries.
On Wednesday, he chaired a meeting at Jangaon to review the progress of Mission Bhagiratha, Land Records Updation programme, Rythu Bima, double bedroom houses construction. Speaking on the occasion, he said the government has been making efforts to turn the district fertile by ensuring irrigation.
The Deputy CM enquired about the status of Land Records Updation programme and wanted clear the pending cases in Gundala and Chelpur mandals. He told the officials to take measures to extend Rythu Bima to all farmers by July 10.
Referring to Mission Bhagiratha, laying of pipelines and installing taps by July 15 and entire double bedroom houses should be supplied tap water.
Soon the programme of laying foundation stone for Malkapur reservoir by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would be finalised.
Rajya Sabha member Banda Prakash, ZP chairperson G Padma, chief whip B Venkateshwaralu, MLAs M Yadagiri Reddy, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, and T Rajaiah and others were present.
