Asifabad district makes huge improvement in Delta ranking
Asifabad district from Telangana has taken a major leap in baseline rankings (Health & Nutrition) by the NITI Aayog. Asifabad ranked 15th in Delta ranking compared to the 100th ranking in last March.

The first Delta ranking of aspirational districts was released by NITI Aayog in New Delhi on Friday. Making a significant improvement in the past two months, Asifabad district stood at 15th position in the list of Delta rankings.
Khammam district bagged the 11th place.
Jayashankar Bhupalpally district was one among the 10 districts that performed well across the country in pre and post-natal care. The district also performed well in micro-irrigation, net sown area, and rejuvenation of water-bodies under MNREGA.
Khammam ranked 5th among the top ten districts, that performed well in achieving the goal of ‘no hunger’ by improving agricultural productivity in a sustainable manner.
