Hyderabad: Stating that response for the Jana Chaitanya Yatra by the BJP leaders was poor, Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLC Karne Prabhakar on Friday said that the saffron party leaders were conspiring to create difference between people on the basis of religion for the sake of votes.

Addressing a press conference here at Telangana Bhavan, Prabhakar said that the BJP had no chance in Telangana and they would not get the five seats which they have now. “The way the Congress bus yatra was an utter failure in the same way there is no response from the people for the Jana Chaitanya Yatra by the BJP leaders. Entire State is with Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and all the efforts of the opposition parties will prove futile” said Prabhakar.

Prabhakar alleged that the BJP leaders who do not open their mouth for getting benefits from the Centre were indulging in mud-slinging to prove their existence in the State. “The BJP would have to face embarrassment as their efforts to get vote by dividing the people on the basis of religion will not fetch any result,” he said. He further alleged that the BJP leaders were unhappy as their graph was not going up even after doing so many things and hence they were making baseless allegations against the State government.

He said that the BJP which did not bother to take the name Ram Temple during the last four years was raking up the issue now only to get votes. The TRS leader said that the assurance of the BJP that they would waive the farm loans to the extent of Rs 2 lakh was totally bogus. He wanted the BJP leaders to get a statement from the Prime Minister on the loan waiver. He said that though the State was not getting support from the Centre on expected lines, the government was striving for development of all sectors.

The TRS leader suggested the BJP leaders to check the awards and rewards, the State government was getting from various agencies.
