Kodangal: The state government has sanctioned Rs. 3 core for the construction of a new bus stand in Kodangal mandal of Vikarabad district.

While touring Kodangal constituency on Tuesday, Patnam Mahender Reddy, Minister of Transport, inspected the site for the construction of a new bus depot and a bus stand. The minister said, the people of Kodangal had long been waiting for a new bus depot and it has been finally fulfilled during the TRS government.

“The demand for a new bus depot in Kodangal had been pending for a long time. However, the earlier governments and the local people’s representatives never bothered to bring the people’s problems to the government.

However the TRS government irrespective of the parties in power in the constituency is committed to ensure all sections of people in all the regions equally. We will ensure the new bus depot and bus stand will be taken up as early as possible and completed on time to serve the people’s transportation,” said Mahender Reddy, while addressing a meeting.

While taking a jibe at the local MLA Revanth Reddy, Mahender Reddy said, “Revanth Reddy has been playing politics with the people’s problems. He did nothing for his constituency during the past 4 years and has jumped from party to the other to gain political mileage.

He does not know the names of villages of his constituency. On the other hand KCR has initiated hundreds of the cores development works in the constituency. Very soon once the depot is started we will run many pallevelugu buses,” said the Minister.
