Corporation let down SC entrepreneurs: KVPS
Nalgonda: Kula Vivaksha Porata Samithi (KVPS) district General Secretary Paladugu Nagarjuna here on Monday expressed his concern over the injustice being meted out by the Scheduled Castes Cooperative Development Corporation to the entrepreneurs by not releasing subsidy.
The KVPS staged a sit-in protest in front of the District Collectorate, demanding that the Corporation release subsidy to the beneficiaries immediately. The leaders said the bank officials too had been troubling the candidates in granting loans under self-employment scheme.
Nagarjuna said none of of 1,800 beneficiaries selected during 2017 and 18 financial year were given subsidy by the Corporation. The Corporation had failed to help the beneficiaries during 2015-2016 and 2016-17 financial year too.
He along with the KVPS leaders submitted a memorandum to District Collector Gaurav Uppal and requested him for necessary action in the interest of beneficiaries. KVPS State committee member Remidala Parusha Ramulu, Narsimha, Naveen, Ravinder, Nagesh , Shashidhar, Saidulu and others participated.
