Samskrita Bharati offers free Sanskrit courses

Warangal: Samskrita Bharati, a non-profit organisation working to revive Sanskrit language, is offering free Sanskrit courses through distance mode.

According to the organisation district coordinator B Anandam, those above 15 years can enrol in the course and those below that age group, if well versed with Hindi can also enrol their names. The course material is available in Telugu, Hindi and English.  

Speaking to The Hans India here on Tuesday, he informed that there are four different courses such as Pravesha, Parichaya, Shiksha and Kovida, each with six months duration. Besides that, there is a basic level ‘Spoken Samskrit’ course with 10-days duration, he said.  

The contact classes with one and half month duration will be conducted at Vivekananda Nilayam, Kakaji Colony in Hanamkonda every Sunday. In addition to that daily classes during evening hours will be conducted at Daffodils High School, KLN Reddy Colony in Hanamkonda, he added.

Samskrita Bharati is intending to reach out to as many as 5,000 students in Warangal district during the academic year 2018-2019. Further details can be obtained Anandam over 8341685185 or 9908337083.
