Speed up correction of errors in pattadar passbooks, says Collector to officials
Khammam: District Collector D S Lokesh Kumar here on Wednesday directed the Revenue officials to speed up the rectification process of pattadar passbooks. He also asked the officials to examine the application for enrolment to electoral rolls.
The Collector held a video conference with the Revenue and Rural Development officials of revenue department and Rural Development Officers to review of the progress of the work regarding rectification of pattadar passbooks and uploading of the corrected passbooks onto the Dharani portal.
The Collector told the officials that about 44,786 applications were received for enrolment to electoral rolls. About 19,000 applications are yet to be examined, he said.
He ordered the Tahsildars to complete the process of voter enrolment after thorough examinations of applications. He directed the Civil Supplies Department to distribute essential commodities to those fair price shop dealers who paid for them through demand draft.
Administrative Officer B Madan Gopal, Deputy Tahsildar Rambabu, Rural Development Officer and Tahsildars of various mandals participated in the video conference.
