Nation reeling under political crisis

Karimnagar: Newly-appointed AICC in-charge for Telangana Srinivasan Krishnan opined that the nation was reeling under political uncertainty and alleged that the BJP led NDA government utterly failed in dealing with economical and external affairs.

Important leaders of erstwhile Karimnagar district had a meeting with Srinivasan Krishnan here on Tuesday. Congress senior leaders T Jeevan Reddy, D Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabahakar and others participated in the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, Srinivasan Krishnan alleged that the TRS government was running against the aspirations of people of Telangana. There was no development taken place in Telangana State, he said and called upon the Congress cadre to root out the TRS government from power.

Jeevan Reddy alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao transformed Telangana as a debt-ridden State. Chandrashekar Rao failed to fulfill the assurances given during the elections, he said and called upon the party activists to work hard unitedly.

Expressing anger at the Telangana government, Ponnam Prabhakar said the State government failed in all aspects. There was a need to conduct deliberations in village level on the KCR rule, he said and warned IT Minister KT Rama Rao of serious consequences in future if spoke as he wished. He said people would teach a fitting lesson to Rama Rao and announced that the Congress’ aim was to dethrone the TRS government.
