Weatherman warns of heavy rains in Telangana from July 13 to 15
Hyderabad: Heavy rains are very likely to lash several parts of the State on Thursday, warned Met department. Several parts of Adilabad, Kumaram-Bheem, Mancherial, Jayashankar-Bhupalpally, Karimnagar, Kothagudem, Khammam, Jogulamba-Gadwal, Nagarkurnool, Jagtial and Peddapally districts will receive rains on Thursday.
Meanwhile, rains occurred at a few places in Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Nizamabad, Jogulamba-Gadwal, Khammam, Kothagudem districts on Wednesday. The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm) in the State were:
Kollapur (Nagarkurnool) and Wanaparthy 4 cm, Bodhan, Yedapalle and Dichpalle (all in Nizamabad) 3 each, Nizamabad and Jurala Project 2 cm each.
According to the forecast, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at many places in the State from July 13 to 15. No large change during the period July 16-18 is the weather outlook.
