Residents protest over muddy road plant saplings

Nagarkurnool: With the main road of Kodair mandal in Nagarkurnool district filled with full of mud and water clogged all along the road, the people of Kodair headquarters faced tough time to traverse through the road. 

In spite of many representations to the panchayat raj engineers and higher officials in the district, no one has taken steps to repair the road or lay CC road by de-silting the flooded mud and water.

With heavy rains during the past one week, the situation has turned further pathetic and with mud all over the road is reflecting as muddy paddy fields, said a resident. 

Expressing their protest, the people took to sowing paddy saplings on the road and demanded the officials to immediately take measures to repair the main road and restore it at the earliest.
