KCR's promise fulfilled: Orders issued for upgradation of Gadwal hospital

Hyderabad: Orders have been issued for upgradation of 100-bed area hospital in Gadwal to 300 bed hospital on Thursday. Principal Secretary A Santhi Kumari has agreed to sanction Rs 43.75 crore for this purpose. A related GO No - 430 was also issued by health, medical and family welfare department.

It may be mentioned here that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in a public meeting on June 29 announced decision to upgrade the area hospital in Gadwal to a 300-bed facility. Accordingly, health department authorities prepared the proposal which was given the final nod on Thursday.
