Mission Bhagiratha takes labourer’s life

Kodangal: A labourer, who was working at the site of Mission Bhageeratha Tank near Kodangal mandal was killed when he slipped from the tank. According to reports, the labourer named Mukesh (25), from Uttar Pradesh, was trying to do some repair work at Mission Bhageeratha Project tank, however, while he was trying to bend down to carry out some work accidentally slipped into the tank. Before he was retrieved it was too late. He had died by the time. The police have shifted the body to the government hospital at Kodangal for post mortem.
